Traffic.com Appoints George Mackenzie To Board Of Directors

Wayne, PA—Traffic.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRFC - News), a leading provider of accurate, real-time traffic information in the United States, today announced the appointment of George MacKenzie to the Company’s Board of Directors.

“Mr. MacKenzie’s years of leadership, strong vision, and industry experience will be a powerful complement to our board,” said Mark DeNino, chairman of the board, Traffic.com. “We look forward to leveraging his strategic insight and business perspective during this significant period of growth for the company.”

Mr. MacKenzie currently holds the position of Interim Chief Executive Officer and President of American Water, the leading water service provider in North America. He has also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Glatfelter Company, one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialty papers and engineered products, until his retirement in 2002.

Prior to his tenure at Glatfelter, Mr. MacKenzie held several key positions with Hercules Inc. from 1979 to 2001, including Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; and President, Chemical Specialties. Mr. MacKenzie is currently serving on the Board of Directors of C&D Technologies, Inc., Central Vermont Public Service Corp., Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., and American Water.
