Live Television Broadcast Demo Takes Booth Visitors Behind The Scenes of Three Dimensional Traffic Reports

Wayne, PA—Traffic.com, Inc.(NASDAQ: TRFC - News), a leading provider of accurate, real-time traffic information in the United States, today announced it will showcase a series of new and enhanced digital and wireless real-time traffic solutions at The National Association of Broadcasters Conference (NAB2006) in Booth # C9615. The NAB2006 exhibits will be open April 24-27, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Traffic.com will feature its latest innovative and technology-driven traffic products to show attendees. A variety of interactive displays and live demonstrations will illustrate how Traffic.com delivers valuable traffic information on-air, online, and on-the-go through television, radio, mobile applications, and the Internet.

Featuring hourly live demonstrations of up-to-the-minute television traffic reports delivered via its NeXgen™ technology, Traffic.com will highlight the minimal effort, immediacy, and accuracy of this integrated, no-render graphics and data system. Reports delivered by an in-person traffic anchor will emphasize the flexible use of two and three dimensional city views to instantly display current traffic conditions with city fly-throughs and satellite imagery. The live traffic newscasts will allow visitors to discover how traffic data is collected, analyzed and transformed into the compelling graphical, real-time traffic information broadcast on local news programs across the country. This interactive traffic showcase will conclude with traffic trivia questions and prizes.

Complementing the live traffic report demo, booth visitors will be led behind-the-scenes to learn how Traffic.com collects and distributes its real-time traffic data, and how drivers and broadcasters can use this traffic data best tailored to their needs.   • Jam Cast™: This new service is designed to dynamically output traffic reports in high-quality audio and video for use with digital television and radio channels, the Web, and/or wireless devices.
  • TrafficOne™: This co-branded Internet content solution provides Web sites with free my traffic.com interactive personalization features as well as email and mobile services.
  • NeXgen™: This fully-integrated data-to-map and graphics system delivers one-of-a-kind real-time traffic content to broadcasters via 2D, Skyview, and 3D views.
  • Broadcaster: Internet-delivered and designed by on-air talent for on-air talent, Broadcaster provides listeners with drive times, incidents, and delays when and where they need it most.

  • RDS & HD Radio® Feeds: By using existing AM/FM broadcasting capabilities, Traffic.com provides real-time, accurate traffic content feeds for digital radio channels. This demo area will showcase the capabilities of HD and RDS data feeds both in navigation devices graphically showing traffic flow and in text-based HD radios replacing title/artist text.

Finally, Traffic.com will discuss the value of real-time traffic information, its impact on the consumer, and the ability of businesses and consumers to stay connected in today’s wireless world at the Managing Your Digital Radio Bandwidth Conference on April 25th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room S227.
